Tina (Alice Lowe) and Banjo (Smurf) in the new Ben Wheatley (Kill List, Down Terrace) film, Sightseers (2012). Sightseers had its World Premiere at this years Cannes Film Festival in the Directors’ Fortnight section where I originally saw it at. While the dog from The Artist might have been the best dog actor last year in 2012 it’s hard to imagine any will top Banjo’s performance in Sightseers! Sightseers next must see stop on the film festival circuit is at the 2012 edition of the Locarno Film Festival.
