HOLLYWOOD, February 27, 1942 — FORD HAS ANOTHER OSCAR FOR THE MANTELPIECE –
John Ford, motion picture director, has another Oscar to add to his mantel. He won the 1941 Directorial Statuette Award here last night for his work with “How Green Was My Valley” but wasn’t present to accept the Oscar. He’s a Lieutenant Commander in the Navy now.
